Child Concern organises regular CPD accredited training seminars and day conferences throughout the year.  Details of all training events will be posted here as soon as details are confirmed.

If you are a member of Child Concern, you will benefit from reduced entry fees to all our training events, click here to join for just £30 per year.

Secure Accommodation

Venue: Friends’ Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester M2 5NS

Speaker: Jonathan Jackson - Barrister, 18 St John Street Chambers
Aim: Secure Accommodation for children in the care of Local Authorities: including a legal update, use of s.25, practical implementation, pitfalls and solutions
Cost: £35 members, £40 non-members

Capacity in the Family Court: difficult decisions

Aim: Capacity in the context of family proceedings raises some complex issues - this seminar explores these with some case studies covering basic principles and how these are applied.

REIGN Manchester. REIGN is a local project of young adult survivors of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) offering innovative training to organisations, groups and individuals concerned about CSE.
